Recent History:
Car had a frame-on restoration finished in August of 1998 by the President of the Colorado Triumph Club (Michael Cline). Approximately 5,000-6,000 miles on the car since restoration. The mileage was 11,116 when the car was restored. The mileage was 13,508 when I purchased it from Michael in January of 2003 (although the speedometer was broken for some time in the summer of 2001). The mileage is now 15,277 (the speedometer was again broken for approximately 1,000 miles in the summer of 2003). Note that this is not the original engine or transmission from the car. The original engine/transmission had been replaced before the previous owner purchased the car - reason unknown.

Only known issues:
Small leak in master cylinder causing paint to run under it in engine bay
Typical English car engine and transmission drips

Minor paint nicks
The hood (bonnet) fit is not perfect
Small, almost undetectable dent in underside of hood near prop rod
Every once in a while (every 30th start maybe?) starter does not engage until 2nd or 3rd turn of the key

Many recent upgrades (everything new - all receipts):

Many extras including:

Just before I purchased the car, the seller put in a recently rebuilt type-A overdrive transmission, a new clutch kit, and a newly rebuilt water pump. The following is the original information I received when I purchased the car in 2003. I still have all the original receipts/paperwork, etc. from the last owner to pass on with the car.

Original AD Information From 2003

I have receipts for all parts and work done. I had the oil tested in June 2002 and everything tested great (click here for results). For a copy of the BMIHT Certificate (car birth certificate), click here.
